Help!! Faster internet required!!

Thunders!! 2 bots of thunders are enough to knock out my Maxonline connection on Monday noon!
Now, my maxonline is crawling at snail speed...the thunders caused the signal on my fibre optics cable to be unbelievable slow!!In fact,if I did not bypass the splitter,I couldn't surf at all..Starhub did a test for me and verified that my signal is "extremely weak"....so weak that I can now only surf much slower than a 56kbps modem!! My download speed? 73bps!! (no error,without any "k" or "M")
