Eventful Day

What a day!!
I have been visiting the nearby CC to do my revision these days in one of the study rooms.Recently they closed down the room and renovated another room for a new "theme": a study-cum-reading room, with study desks on one side, and new,designer sofa with small, round, glassed coffee-mini-tables.Best(or rather,silliest) of all, they built a small bricked hut as cafe,with chairs and tables outside for people to sit.And when the CC people asked, Dome just at the "chance" to operate the hut...I mean,"cafe"...
They even invited some MP here to "officiate" the "Grand Opening" of the pathehic-looking room...

Yesterday,met the manager of the Dome cafe yesterday while watching the blur-looking staff manning the 'hut'.HL,the manager, was complaining her stupid boss who accepted the invitation to operate the 'hut' there.Her main Dome cafe is downstairs, and if people ordered anything not available in the hut,it means she or her staff got to run up and down to send the food upstairs and if they broke anything,they got to pay for it.Also,with the crowd being students,its not surprising that they cant afford most stuff there,well,if they are buying anyway.Imagine,a can of Coke cost $3.50,when the vending machine 20m away cost $1.10 only.Cursed her dumb boss (must be from TP,no doubt!) for accepting the sure-lose-money 'chance'.
Now,I noticed that the only way the 'close' the hut,was by pulling down a few cloth-made 'shutter'.That's how they 'locked' the hut when close shop.Being the security specialist in my SAF job, I mentioned to HL that the few cloth-shutter are very insecure and a penknief is all it needs to break-in. Well,its her dumb boss's idea again.She cant do anything.
Today,saw my waiter friend there accompany an Indian guy around.Observed closely,saw my friend printing his fingerprints n some papers.Noticed the Indian guy wearing a ID card or something on his pocket.
Soon,my friend walked by and told me:"last nite got people broke in...damaged something.The forensic people came to investigate."
Haha!!So Zun!!Just yesterday I mention only,today mata came liao...
Anybody wants 4-D numbers from me?

Worse Than White Elephants
Now,about that study room.I don't understand what those old foggots in CC's management.What are they trying to show with these sofa and coffee tables?They want to attract people to sit here and read,but no newspapers or reading materials provided.They put coffee tables there,but no food and drinks in the room.So,what will these people do?Sleep on the sofa of cos!But,as you expected,no sleeping allowed.Plus,the room is quite out of view to passer-by,so who,less the study-people, will come and use the sofa?
So,some "smart" school gals decided to make full use of the sofa and coffee table.They brought their MacDonalds' in,and snacked happily away.Well, nobody bothers about them...until....
POMP!! Simi tai chi??!! Everybody in the room got a shock and look around.Well, they gals,when moving their heavy butts from the comfty sofa,overturned the glassed-coffee table..and the glass-top splitted nicely into 2!!
The CC people came shortly after to clear the mess.Wonder how much the gals gonna pay for this.Must be at least $100...
Did I mentioned the sofa and coffee tables were less than 3 days old?

While chatting to my waiter friend,I received a call...
He:"Hello...oei...San Chong Cai buay simi?"
Me:" err...1, 3, 5 "
He:" huh??"
Me:" Aiyah,chin cai buay..Sue, sng wah eh.."
He:"(very excited) Jin eh ah!!!"
Me:" Jin eh lah!!"
Ended Call.

Now,I wondered who this guy is looking for. One thing for sure,his friend gonna have a hard time denying the promise....
